MAITE PERRONI
Maite Perroni Beorlegui (born March 9, 1983 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal) is a Mexican singer and actress. Perroni gained international popularity as a member of the group RBD.
Early life

Perroni was only eleven months old when she and her family moved to Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco in Mexico. Her father, Javier Perroni, was transferred to that city by his job, where the Perroni family lived for twelve years. She has two brothers: Adolfo, who is three years younger, and Francisco (Paco), who is nine years younger than her. Maite studied acting in Televisa's Centro de Educación Artistica (CEA) in the year 2000, completing two years of a three year program. She is of Italian descent.

Career

She made her debut as an actress in Rebelde, where she portrayed Guadalupe "Lupita" Fernández, who comes from a very humble family and gets the opportunity to study at the fictitious Elite Way School, one of the most prestigious schools in Mexico City, thanks supposedly to her excellent grades.

Perroni is a member of the popular Mexican band RBD, which was formed during the recording of the series and became a phenomenon around Latin America, United States, and parts of Europe. The other members of RBD are also cast in Rebelde.

Recently, Maite composed the lyrics of a new song called "Tal Vez Mañana". She was helped by her fiance, the guitarist of the band, Güido Larris. She's doing her next telenovela called "Cuidado con el Angel" which is about a girl that is beautiful, young, and full of life although she is often tormented by something that happened to her in the past. She costars with William Levy, Laura Zapata, among others. She is the Spokesmodel for NYX Cosmetics.[1]

Personal life

Perroni is engaged to the RBD band director, Güido Larris. Their wedding date has not yet been set due to tour dates, the telenovela related to RBD, and an upcoming film.

WILLIAM LEVY
William Levy (born William Levy Gutierrez in August 29, 1979 in Cojimar, Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban-American actor and former model.

Levy, the oldest of three children, left Cuba when he was 15 years ago and went to live in Miami. He has studied acting in Miami, Los Angeles and Mexico.

He first appeared in two realty shows Protagonistas de Novelas 2 and Isla de la Tentacion in 2002, both aired on Telemundo. He would later get roles for some made-in-Miami telenovelas like Olvidarte Jamas (2005, Venevision) in which made his debut as an actor, then later would continue with Venevision Productions with 2 more telenovelas, Mi Vida Eres Tu (2006, Venevision) and Acorralada (2007/Venevision). For 2008, he made his bigges jump joining the cast of the mexican telenovela Pasión. He is currently starring on his first lead role in Cuidado con el Angel for Televisa. He has also appeared in the play La Nena Tiene Tumbao at the Teatro Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico in 2005.

In 2006, People magazine in Spanish named him as one of the 50 Sexist Bachelors. Levy is unmarried and has one son, Christopher Alexander, with his Mexican actress girlfriend, Elisabeth Gutierrez.






LAURA ZAPATA
Laura Zapata (born Laura Guadalupe Zapata Miranda on July 31, 1956) is a Mexican telenovela actress. She has acted in Televisa productions most of her life. She is the daughter of Guillermo Zapata (a Mexican boxer) and Yolanda Miranda Mange (from her first marriage). Curiously, she married one of Thalía's father's (Ernesto Sodi)'s nephews (Thalía's cousin), that's why she was named Laura Zapata de Sodi in Mexico.
Career

Zapata is the eldest sister of singer Thalía and of Ernestina Sodi, a famous writer. Zapata was the first one of the family to gain international fame, acting in such soap operas as Rosalinda, Pobre Niña Rica, Esmeralda and especially Rosa Salvaje, alongside Veronica Castro. In Maria Mercedes, one of Thalía's first soap operas, she played a villain opposite her sister. In the world of telenovelas, she is as well-known known for her protagonist roles as for her roles as antagonist.

Kidnapping

On September of 2002, Zapata and her sister Ernestina were kidnapped and taken to an unspecified location. The news of their kidnapping made headlines across Latin America and among the Spanish-speaking television channels of the United States. Thalia is married to billionaire Tommy Mottola, so it was speculated that their captors would ask for a large sum of money. Instead, Zapata was released 18 days after her kidnapping, and her sister Ernestina was released on the 34th day

Another scandal

In January 2004, Zapata once again made headlines; gossip shows talked about an alleged dispute between her and her sisters about Zapata's intentions to make a play based on the kidnapping. Zapata announced she will put that project on hold and concentrate on another play, one which stars former Menudo member Johnny Lozada, but as of 2005 the play based on her kidnapping was about to be premiered, despite legal threats from Thalía. Ernestina agreed to be portrayed in the play.

In the United States and Canadian versions of August 22, 2005's edition of Mira! magazine, an article was published alleging that Zapata and Sodi's kidnappings had been planned from a jail in Peru. According to the articles, a Mexican drug dealer who is jailed in Lima placed calls to the Mexican location Tiaxplana, to plan the kidnappings and set a ransom in the amount of 5 million US dollars for the two sisters.

The return in telenovelas

In 2008, she stated that she would be returning to TV screens as part of the new telenovela produce by Nathalie Lartilleux "Cuidado con el Angel".

SHERLYN
Sherlyn (born 14 October 1985 in Guadalajara, Jalisco) is a Mexican actress. She starred in various telenovelas and is well known for her starring roles in Clase 406 and Corazones al límite.
Mexican singer/actress Sherlyn started singing at a very young age. After winning a local contest called Vamos A Jugar Cantando (Let's Dance and Sing), she joined a children-oriented group called K.I.D.S. and recorded a self-titled album that featured "Es Mi Amigo". In K.I.D.S, she worked alongside of Dulce Maria (former friend) and Fuzz --both girls co-starred in Clase 406 together. She later participated in a tribute album to Pope Jean Paul II titled El Pescador. K.I.D.S.' second album, En El Principio, was released by Fonovisa in 1999. A year later, the six-piece act disbanded. In addition to preparing her solo career, Sherlyn decided to concentrate on her acting work, playing roles in local soap operas. Sherlyn acted in Clase 406 and later moved on to Alborada, which starred Lucero. She was Sandy in the Mexican play of Vaselina (Grease), with her ex-boyfriend Aarón Díaz as Danny.

Evita Muñoz "Chachita"
Eva María Muñoz Ruiz, was born in (Orizaba, Veracruz; on November 26, 1936). She is a mexican actress. Her career began during the golden age of Mexican cinema. During 67 continuous years, 'Chachita' has been recognized as a a succesful artist in cinema, tv, theatre, radio, night club and circus.

Even though she was a little under four years old she was already filming her first motion picture, starting a career of big hits with her in the starring role as a child actress beginning with a role in El secreto del sacerdote in 1941, and after her second movie: ¡Ay Jalisco, no te rajes! (1941), she received the nickname of: "Chachita" (Short for: 'Muchachita' (Young girl)), Evita Muñoz "Chachita" has been able to become a popular icon and has managed to stay present in her audiences´ mind during a life-long career as a child, teenager, adult and senior actress.

Round 1944 her popularity in the movies made her start her radio career in the radio show La legión de madrugadrores in the XEQ radio station. In 1947 she signed a contract with CBS in New York to star in the radio serial: Aventuras de una niña trasmitted to all Central and South America and produced by Carlos Montalbán. At the end of the fifties she starred in the show: El Risámetro.

To promote her movie La Hija del Payaso (1946), in which she performed along with elephants and trained dogs, she learned to lay the marimba and the xylophone. She made personal appearances with the Atayde Circus when she was only eight.

During her teenage years, she costarred with Pedro Infante in the trilogy: Nosotros los pobres (1948), Ustedes los ricos (1948) and Pepe el Toro (1952), which jumpstarted a new cicle for the mexican cinema.

A privileged voice allows her to sing not only as herself; she does impressions of female singers from the era like: Celia Cruz, Olga Guillot and Mona Bell.

During the Korean War she visited and performed shows for the hispanic-american troops of soldiers. She was invited by Dámaso Pérez Prado as a mambo dancer for a tour all over the Philipine islands and Japan where she became a sensation.

Pioneer of mexican Tv, in soap operas such as Gutierritos with Rafael Banquels, in comedy programs with Chespirito and variety shows like Siempre en Domingo with Raúl Velasco, she quickly became a favorite of the mexican audience.

In the seventies she played the role of Sister Carmela, a novice nun in the convent where ‘Cristina’ (Graciela Mauri) went to elementary school in the mexican versión of the soap opera Mundo de Juguete. In 1975 she starred in the varieties show Un hombre y una mujer with Fernando Allende.

In theatre, she has performed during lengthy seasons of dramas, comedies and musicals, receiving different award and recognition in Mexico and abroad.

During the eighties she played the role of the witch Hermelinda Linda in a couple of films. In tv she starred along with Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo and Macaria in the sit-com Dos mujeres en mi casa, and in 1986 she worked again with Freddy Fernández "El Pichi" in the sit-com Nosotros los Gómez.

In the nineties she continued working in a series of Soap operas for Televisa up to nowadays, besides making films like De lengua me como un plato with Alberto Rojas "El Caballo" and Maribel Fernández "La Pelangocha" and she played a nun from northern Mexico in Cambiando el destino with the band Magneto.

In the new milennium she has starred in several episodes of Mujer: Casos de la vida real produced and presented by Silvia Pinal and she has lent her voice to CGI animated characters such as 'Cocó' the lamp in Serafín: La Película and 'Dr. Lucille Krunklehorn' in the latinamerican spanish versión of Disney´s Meet the Robinsons.

She has made ad campaings for Roach Motel (product) and Ziploc.

Currently she is working in the Televisa soap opera Cuidado con el ángel and in the 2008 season of Sesame Street - Mexico.

Cynthia Klitbo
Cynthia Klitbo (born on March 11, 1967 in Zacatecas, Zacatecas) is a Mexican actress of telenovelas, theater and Mexican cinema.
Biography

Cynthia Klitbo was born to a Danish father and a Mexican Mother. She has previously been married to actors Jorge Antolín and Francisco Gattorno. She began her television career in 1987 playing a secondary character in the telenovela "Como Duele Callar." "Amor en Silencio," "Mi Segunda Madre," "Yo Compro Esa Mujer," and "Cadenas de Amargura" soon followed.

After a brief hiatus in the mid-1990's, she returned to the small screen in "La Dueña," once again playing a villainess. Notable performances in "Alguna vez Tendremos alas," "El Privilegio de Amar," and "La Casa en la Playa" established Cynthia as one of the best known actresses of her generation.

Klitbo has a broad range of acting skills. Notable performances with deep psycholocigal interpretations are amazingly brought to screen by this actress. Stunning was her acting prowess in the telenovela "El Privilegio de Amar" where in a dramatic scene she shaved her head to show her antagonist character's insanity and defeat.

In 2005 Klitbo also worked as director of the telenovela Alborada produced by Carla Estrada. However, the two television personalities conflicted and Klitbo left the production days later. Later in the year she participated in the reality show Bailando por un sueño ("Dancing for a dream"), the Mexican version of Strictly Come Dancing, (the United States version is Dancing with the Stars).

On Tuesday, August 1, 2006 she gave birth to a 8.5 pound baby girl via caesarian section. She named her Elisa Fernanda. The father of young Elisa is Rubén Lira who is 11 years her junior. While pregnant she had refused to make public the name of the father of the child. It is reported that her reasoning for not naming the father of her child is because he left her and the baby during the pregnancy.

Helena Rojo
Helena Rojo is a leading Mexican film, theater and television actress.
Born María Elena Lamadrid Ruiz (August 18, 1944) in México City, she began her career as a model in the early-1960s. Toward the end of the decade, she studied drama with renown Mexican directors Carlos Ancira and José Luis Ibáñez, making her film debut in 1968 in the film El club de los suicidas. That same year, Helena also appeared in her second film, Los amigos. She continued working as a model and appearing in small film roles in the late 60's and early 70's.

In 1969, she signed an exclusivity contract with Productora Cinematográfica Marte. Later, she began expanding her acting career into television and theater. In 1974, her first television role was the lead in the telenovela Extraño en su pueblo. She was married to actor Juan Ferrara for many years. Currently, she is married to Benjamín Fernández, who is not in the entertainment industry. She is the mother of three children: Leo, Patricia and Elena, all from her second marriage.

Helena's cinematic career lead her to work with the most important Mexican film directors of the 1970s and 80's, such as Felipe Cazals, Arturo Ripstein, Rafael Corkidi, Alberto Bojórquez, Marcela Fernández Violante and Jorge Fons, among others.

She has worked with international talent, such as German director Werner Herzog and actor Klaus Kinski with a role in the film Aguirre: The Wrath of God (1972). She also appeared in the film Fox Trot (1976), directed by Arturo Ripstein and alongside actors Charlotte Rampling, Peter O'Toole and Max Von Sydow.

In 2006 she appeared on the American dramedy series Ugly Betty, where she plays a mother who tries to steer her son away from the stepmother who has eyes for him on a 'faux' telenovela that is watched on TV by the main character's family.

Nailea Norvind
Nailea Norvind (born on February 16, 1970 in Mexico City) is a Mexican television actress who also appeared in the critically-acclaimed film Gaby: A True Story. She also lent her voice to play Princess Kida in the Spanish dubbing of Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

She started her career at a young age but is still most remembered from her role as the villain Leonor in the telenovela Quinceañera.
She is the daughter of Norwegian-born psychosexual counselor, dominatrix, writer, producer, director and former actress Eva Norvind who was in turn the daughter of a Russian prince and a Scandinavian sculptress. However, Nailea has been estranged from her mother since she was 12. Nailea was married to Fernando Gonzalez Parra from 1993 to 1998, and has two daughters of her own: Naian and Tessa.

Nailea is a graduate of Televisa acting school (Centro de Educación Artística) and started her acting career at the age of 12 on the telenovela Chispita starred by the child singer Lucero (then an actress called "Lucerito"). Nailea's biggest break came in at the age of 17 with the telenovela Quinceañera opposite Adela Noriega and singer Thalía. The same year she participated in the film Gaby: A True Story. After a few small roles in several other telenovelas she made Cuando llega el amor again with Lucero and then took a break from television. She returned eight years later on the telenovela Preciosa. She has since then obtained roles in six more telenovelas as well as the sitcom Diseñador ambos sexos with Héctor Suárez Gomís. In 2002 she was one of the guests in the first VIP edition of Big Brother-Mexico.

In 2006, Nailea completed the film that her mother, Eva Norvind, had been directing and producing at the time of her death in May of that same year. Entitled ‘Born Without’, it is a documentary about severely handicapped Mexican actor and musician Jose Flores. In March 2007, 'Born Without' won Best International Documentary at the Festival Internacional de Cine Contemporaneo de la Ciudad De Mexico (FICCO).

René Strickler (born René Guillermo Strickler Zender April 27, 1962) in Córdoba, Argentina) is an Argentine-Mexican actor.
He is of both German and English descent. He is currently married to Patricia Rangel. They have two sons, Andrick and Yanick (12 and 14 years). He migrated to Mexico City in 1986. He was a model, but then he gained his first protagonic role in soap opera, Ramona. He has a hotel in Acapulco, Guerrero.

Maya Mishalska
Maya Mishalska (born Maya Mishalska Harasymowicz on December 8, 1966 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Mexican actress

She began playing the violin at the age of six. Through ten years of studies at the Music Conservatory, she looked for an opportunity to experiment in theatre. Her passion for acting surged after participating in a play by Federico Garcia Lorca. A few years later, she arrived in Mexico City to begin actng studies. After enrolling in Televisa's Centro de Estudios Artisticos (CEA), her talent was noticed by producers. From that moment on, she has been busy appearing in various Telenovelas, plays and films.
